Coming from the heart of Cajun Country in South Louisiana, Keith has a deep appreciation for diverse cultures, experiences and local cuisines. Keith has a degree in Industrial Engineering from Louisiana State University and began his career as an engineer in Southwest Louisiana…. but he got to the gaming industry as quickly as he could. He began his casino career in 1997 with the Isle of Capri, and his travels have led him to locations in South Mississippi, Mid-Minnesota, and now to Spirit Mountain Casino. He and his family are proud survivors of Hurricane Katrina in 2005….nonetheless he is happy to be in Oregon where the threat of hurricanes is pretty low.

Cory has worked for SMC since September, 2nd 2008 when he joined the Human resources team as our Employee Relations Specialist. Prior to 2008 Cory worked in the housing manufacturing business beginning in 1992. Throughout that seventeen years in manufacturing; Cory worked as an Assistant Production Manager, Sales coordinator, and Assistant Quality Control Manager. Cory is an native Oregonian and enjoys all the outdoor amenities this great state provides. Cory is a devoted Oregon Duck’s and Portland Trailblazer’s fan. Cory enjoys interacting with our guest here at Spirit Mountain Casino so don’t hesitate to enlist his help with your guest service needs.

Eugene “Gene” LaBonte joined the Spirit Mountain Host Team in March of 2012. Prior to his transfer, Gene worked in Table Games as a dealer and floor supervisor for five years. The transfer to the Host department was an ideal fit for Gene, who is a “people person” and relishes the personalized interaction he has with guests. Gene enjoys spending his spare time hunting, fishing and camping with his family. He served four years in the Air Force, and is a proud cancer survivor.

Danny Modenessi

Danny was raised in Phoenix, Arizona. He moved to Oregon in October of 2004 to begin a career with Spirit Mountain. Prior to joining the Host department, Danny held positions in Guest Services, Food & Beverage and Table Games. He is customer service oriented and has excellent communication skills. When he’s not at work, it’s likely Danny is either playing sports or watching sports with his family.
