Fans of the Blue Collar Comedy group, start planning for a night of laughter and world class entertainment as Bill Engvall comes to the Spirit Mountain Casino this summer! On August 24, Engvall brings his sharp sense of humor and stand-up routine to the Event Center for one night only.

A native of Galveston, Texas, Engvall caught his big break a few years after moving to Southern California to pursue a career in comedy. Appearances on television shows and comedy tours led to recognition at the American Comedy Awards in 1992, naming Engvall the Best Male Stand-up performer. Engvall continued his career working in television and film and in 1996 released his first comedy album, Here’s Your Sign, which was certified platinum and reached #5 on the Billboard Country Album Chart. In 2000, Engvall joined fellow comedians Jeff Foxworthy, Ron White, and Larry the Cable Guy to revolutionize the world of comedy with the first Blue Collar Comedy Tour. The extremely popular Blue Collar Comedy Tour continued for six years and spawned two movies, a radio show, a television show, and a recorded soundtrack that was nominated for a Grammy Award.

Since the final Blue Collar Comedy Tour in 2006, Engvall has released his ninth comedy album, Aged and Confused, and served as the host for the game show Lingo on the Game Show Network. Engvall now tours the country, performing his relatable, yet hilarious stand-up which finds humor in everyday situations, when he is not at home in Southern California with his wife and two grown children.
