It’s that time again… time for Caged Combat 6 at Spirit Mountain Casino! Experience MMA action at its finest when United Combat Sports returns once again with an all-star fight card loaded with local talent on July 14th. Lisa Ellis and Amy “Lil’ Dynamite” Davis will face off for the UCS 110-pound professional women’s title.
Ellis (14-8-0) has scored a number of big wins since her professional debut in late 2004 as one of the most experienced female fighters in the sport. This next fight will be her chance to score another title belt against Davis.
Davis (3-2-0) is primarily known for her striking skills and has already faced some of MMA’s top talent in the 105-pound women’s division. Also known as ultimate fighting or cage fighting, mixed martial arts (MMA) is a full-combat sport that allows for a blend of other techniques and battle sports in a competition format. Fighters will often use a mix of grappling and striking techniques, and most will cross-train in a variety of fighting styles to stay competitive.
