Join Spirit Mountain Casino as we welcome one of the original Kings of Comedy to the Willamette Valley. On April 28th, Cedric the Entertainer brings his distinctive voice and act to the Event Center for one night of laughs!

Cedric Antonio Kyles, professionally known by his stage name of Cedric the Entertainer, is a multi-talented actor, comedian and director, best known for his work on The Steve Harvey Show, Barbershop and The Original Kings of Comedy. Before he became successful in slapstick humor, Cedric worked in the insurance industry while frequenting comedy clubs in his home state of Missouri, winning a number of competitions and eventually sharing the stage with fellow comedian Steve Harvey.

He debut on television did not come until 1992, when he appeared in a string of TV shows, including The Tonight Show, Hollywood Squares and Politically Incorrect. When The Steve Harvey Show began its six-year run in 1996, Cedric played a regular role as Cedric the gym coach alongside Harvey’s Steve Hightower. His tenure on the series eventually landed him in a number of feature films, with a debut role in Big Momma’s House, starring Martin Lawrence. It was not until the concert film The Original Kings of Comedy was released, featuring Cedric together with Harvey, Bernie Mac and D.L. Hughley, that his star officially rose in the ranks.

Cedric also earned recognition among his peers, including the Richard Pryor Comic of the Year Award from BET, as well as a star on the St. Louis Walk of Fame. Most recently, he recorded a track with Korean rap artists Drunken Tiger on their album, Foundation, as well as hosted It’s Worth What?, a television game show on NBC.
