What better way to ring in 2012 than the ultimate Super Sunday Party? Join us at the Spirit Mountain Event Center on February 5th to watch the game of the year and celebrate another fantastic finish to the NFL season with food, fun and football prizes as we tune in to Super Bowl XLVI.

The game itself is the 46th annual edition of the NFL playoff championship and will be hosted at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis, Indiana this year. This is the first time that the Super Bowl is played in Indianapolis, and the first time in consecutive years that it is held in a stadium with a retractable roof (it is, after all, a cold-weather city). The game will be nationally televised and also streamed online via computers and mobile devices.

The much anticipated halftime show will feature the “Material Girl” herself, Madonna, who is slated to share the stage with M.I.A. and Nicki Minaj. Other collaborators include Jamie King, Moment Factory and Cirque du Soleil. Thrill seekers can also take a zipline ride to downtown Indy from the Super Bowl Village’s signature attraction. Starting January 27th, thousands of fans are expected to climb the 95-foot tower and soar 800 feet across the Village toward Lucas Oil Stadium. Tickets have already been released and about half of the slots have been presold.

This week marks Wild Card Weekend, with outside teams such as the Cincinnati Bengals and Houston Texans and the Pittsburgh Steelers and Denver Broncos playing for divisional spots against New England and Baltimore in the AFC playoffs. On the NFC side, the Detroit Lions will face off against the New Orleans Saints and the Atlanta Falcons will play the New York Giants (fresh off their win against Dallas) to ultimately face the San Francisco 49ers or the Green Bay Packers in the divisional games. In the end, only two will advance to play on the big stage in February.
