Luis Ángel “El Flaco” Biography

Luis Ángel Franco Rivera, better known by his stage name Luis Ángel “El Flaco”, is a singer of Mexican regional music, born on March 7, 1984 in Mazatlan, who works mainly in the Banda genre. Trained in singing and opera by the university institute “Escuela de Artes José Limón” in Culiacán, he established his reputation, in Mexico and the United States, working for sixteen years with Banda Los Recoditos (es), and in 2019, began a career as a solo musician.

Luis Angel El Flaco has successfully carved a niche for himself in the music industry. As of 2020, he released his debut album titled “Desde Casa,” which has contributed to his growing popularity on streaming platforms like Spotify, where, by December 2023, he garnered over 3 million monthly listeners. His YouTube channel, boasting 1.9 million subscribers, serves as a pivotal platform for distributing his music videos, further demonstrating his musical talents and reaching a vast audience.
